Jayanti is a Queensbury Ward Councillor and currently member of two committees in Brent Council. The Resources and Public Realm Scrutiny Committee and Audit and Standards Committee. He lived in Queensbury for over 35 years and have worked tirelessly to hear and represent residents in whatever capacity he can as a community activist. Building on my record, I have ensured Queensbury thrives and remains a great place to live, work, learn and play.
Jayanti Has a track record of reporting and getting results on local issues that matters to residents and businesses. In the last few years, he has organised and helped several local communities event. including the Queensbury Eco-culture festival in Eton Grove Park, Rangeelu Gujarat and Tribal India in Fryent Country Park. Jayanti is also the Chairman of Friends of Eton Grove Park, instrumental in getting much needed facilities in the park over several years, the latest one being an Outdoor Gym.
Jayanti is a strong believer in social justice and equality, He is persistent and have been continuously fighting residents and businesses corner to the end. He’s key concerns are Crime and Anti-social behaviour, unsafe roads, transport, fly-tipping, and litter on our streets. I am and have been a member of the Queensbury Ward Police panel for 14 years.
