Suresh was born in Tororo, Uganda. After primary education in Tororo and secondary in Mbale is studied Chemistry at Wadia College in Pune India. He came to England in 1971 for further studies but political situation in Uganda prevented it. His family joined him in 1972 when all Ugandan Asians were expelled from the country. He studied Criminal justice and Law part time and did a full time post graduate diploma in Law (LPC) and is on the Roll of practicing solicitors, Law Society, England.
He started working in a DIY shop. Then joined civil service as Assistant Collector of Taxes with Inland Revenue. He started his family DIY business in 1977 which they closed in 2001.He was appointed Justice of The Peace in 1991 and served the community as a Magistrate for 27 years retiring in May 2018.
He is a founding member and Currently Chairman of Kadwa Patidar Center. He is an approved person to register marriages at Kadwa Patidar Centre and has registered about 300 marriages.
He was first elected a Councillor in the London Borough of Brent in 1998, from Barnhill Ward, then Kenton. Suresh is the leader of Conservative Group in Brent.
